Hong Kong Food

Our breakfast

For our breakfast, We need to walk around 20 minutes from Lady Market in Mongkok. Thanks to the local friend that became our tour guide that day

Kwai Fa Kou. In Hong Kong Drama, you will always see this Kwai Fa Kou. It seems like the Princess and the Queen loves it. Its help to moisturize your skin (Osmanthus flower),promotes healthy skin (Goji berries contains beta-carotene and high in antioxidant)..

Lau Sa Pau. My most favorite dim sam. Crispy and the flow of custard cream make it taste like heaven. I love fried food but I restrain my self from eating it because it is not healthy... Look at the oil...I don't like oily food...But Lau Sa Pau tempted me by calling "Come babe, eat me please. I'm ready for you...."

Steam Lau Sa Pau. Same with the fried Lau Sa Pau.. But the fried one is better

Chee Cheung Fan. Apparently Hong Kong Chee Cheung Fan and Malaysia are different. We eat it with curry or soup (Young Tau Fu) but in Hong Kong they eat it with soya sauce and you can dip it with chilly oil. They also have it with mince meat.

Minced beef Chee Cheung Fan

Har Gou (If im not mistaken). It have prawn inside and it is so fresh. I can't eat seafood if its not fresh (I will develop rashes and itch the whole day)
Ma Lai Kou (Something like our apam). There is nothing special about it.

Steam Beef. I hate this dish although I am a meet lover. They mixed it spring onion and chives..The smell are awful. But all of my friends that went with me in this trip loves it. I guess it suits the palate of vege-lover

I don't know what it is. I think it is some steam meat and ham wrap

Spring Roll aka Popia... I don't like it either. They wrap the sengkuang with popia skin and fried it... I don't know what it is called in english for sengkuang.. Hehe

Yam Cake. Nice fried Yam cake.. Not too oily and taste good with chilly oil

Polo pau

I don't know the name either. But it has prawn in it

Tai Pau.
Dumpling

Ok. After we had our breakfast, It is time for us to pay...

Sorry.. I don't understand any words that was written in there. I only knew the numbers.. Our breakfast cost HKD444 (Chinese said sei sei sei means die die die).. Expensive breakfast..We really shocked my the price and of cos the numbers that came out. 444... Bad omen... Roughly RM222 for breakfast.. Can you imagine...

Our supper in Miu Kai (Temple Street)

Mango and Cincau. I love this. So soothing
Honeydew. Love this too...
Dessert with egg. A little tasteless. Their dessert are not sweet. For this dessert all I can taste was brown sugar. I would said that this dessert suits diabetes patients

Our Dinner

Seriously, Hongkie they eat in big portion. Three of us are well known for big eater and we felt full after finishing all of these. Super full... I finished my food and I need to help up my mom. My mom is a small eater. She can't eat a lot. She only manage to eat 1/4 of the noodles.
Even Jamielah can't finished her food..Lucky we have Loo..Loo is our dumper for the trip.. Sorry Loo

My mum food. Cantonese noodles. The plate are big as well as the food. I guess they used one pack of noodles for one customer...

Similar with Nasi goreng pataya.. The rice inside seriously no joke... It similar with our two portion or probably 3 portion plate of rice

I don't remember this dish name. But something curry and meat was on top of the rice. Jamielah Choice...

Minced beef with tomato spaghetti... CAN YOU SEE THE PORTION???? I finished the whole plate and I ate my mum portion too... So full...

After the dinner, we went for a walk to calm down our stomach. Our stomach felt like going to burst. Haha.. But.... we walked down and we found this...

Curry meatball...With full stomach, we still can chowed down this... Hahaha...We really kengchow (superb) when it comes to food

 Breakfast

The second day, we had our breakfast somewhere near our hotel. Again.... The portion... BIG!!!!!! But today I'm lucky, my mum only order bread...
I ordered Macaroni beef with tomato soup. I don't really like it but I can accept the taste.. Seriously, it feels like you eating tomato sauce with macaroni.. I ate it because it has sour taste. I need sour food to help with my bowel movement. I woke up with indigestion.. I guess its all from the dinner
Milk Tea. Smells good and it taste good too...
