Hike up to Bukhansan

Can you see the mountain behind? It is Bukhansan. Our mountain of the day. From the subway, you need to cross the road and walk up the alley. You need to walk around 20 minutes before you reach to the foothills..You can stop by and try their fish cake..

A temple welcome us

Bukhansan National Park has dozens of gorges and granite peaks with crystal clear streams flowing between them, creating a beautiful harmony between mountain and water. There are more than 1,300 species of flora and fauna. There are also many historical and cultural sites including Bukhansanseong Fortress with over 2,000 years of history, over 100 Buddhist temples and monk’s cells. In short, it’s a great place of learning in terms of ecology, culture, and history.

I would advice whoever wanted to visit Bukhansan, please make sure that you has endurance.. We took around 3 hours to hike up. It's written on the board that the hiking only took 45 minutes.. 3 hours hike up not bad right since we enjoying the flora and fauna.. (In deniable mode) Hehe.. We meet an old couple during our hike and they are healthy. They appeared to be like 60-80 years old. During our 3 hours hike up, we met this couple for few times. They been hike up and down countless time.. We such a weak bugger..

But if you saw how narrowed and beautiful the trails, then the 3 hours hike are acceptable..

Our Cathy can't hike up anymore, and she quit on half way. So, I and Jamielah hike up.. Wah.. It worth to suffered all the way up.. The view are so beautiful

The highest temple

Although its tiring, but its worth it. I gain back my energy once I reach to the top...So refreshing
